My Unfulfilled Dream Coming True, Dreaming Next...

 8 years before I had dreamt of something to start my own… my digital marketing company… and main purpose was to give marketing platform to weavers or handicraft artists of India where they can exhibit and sell their products. (yes, I am very fond of handicraft of India)

I got onsite assignment and I couldn’t work on this project of mine, I left it half way through…

And now when I see weavers from remote areas of country sell their products online using smartphones in their hand, small scale businesses running online sites and selling products of various artists, I feel happy to see my dream coming true. I feel so nice to interact with few such entrepreneurs and moreover women entrepreneurs.

Love this transition of Digital India. Yet lot to achieve. This virus will help to make it a little faster.

Schooling is online now. Last year I had train journey to Kutch and the train didn’t have pantry but with an app we could order our meal by giving PNR, coach & seat number and selecting the station where we want our meal to be delivered. Indians know how to use technology very well.

Now the next dream is innovation in India. Hoping our next generation will make it realize.

And The Show Must Go On

Now its been almost 6 months since the world is fighting against this novel virus, Covid-19. World wide economy is down, deaths in many families, people are jobless, some or the other day you get some or the other sad news form family and friends. It seems the natural calamities are less so China is giving war threats. I saw on post recently on Facebook, its seems now only alien attack is missing. These are the days where you should count yourself fortunate if you are alive, healthy and earning.

Yes, I am the one in this fortunate list having job and earning during this lockdown situation.

The other day I was so depressed, the cyclone was going on, heavy winds were blowing outside, raining heavily, life already at risk due to Covid being home in containment zone and I was engrossed in working on production issue, working day night without thinking of what is going on outside. I felt is that really what I should be doing. Later I consoled myself, what else I can do than doing work to keep things going as much as I can.

Every work, every person doing their best is what matters now. Healthcare people are hero saving other peoples life risking their own. People going out for work in lockdown for essential services are hero because of their services we can sit at home and eat safely. People working from home, your service is also important as because of your work economy is surviving. So guys, keep doing your best for your family and country.
I would also request to privileged people to shop something in this unlock phase so that the local shop keepers, hand loom workers, local producers can have some income. They are waiting for their goods to be consumed.

And yes, do take care of yourselves, take necessary precautions while doing your best for others. Live to your fullest while performing your duties. Lets contribute to make this world more beautiful and happy. 

Covid-19 v/s India and Food Habits

The entire world shattered with the outbreak of covid-19 in China and causing immense deaths. The infection spread in Europe, America and other countries causing havoc with many deaths.
Obviously how can India be the exception to it. I was very worried if the infection can cause so much loss to developed and less populated countries what will happen to India which is a densely populated and developing country with lesser availability of facilities.

The only hope I had, hot weather which is not suitable condition of the virus and better immunity of Indians which might respond well.

And yes, not sure what is exact reason, if all of the above, in last two months it has proven Indians responding well to the infection. Fatality v/s recovery rate is much lower for Indians than the rest of the world which is making us think what could be the reason.
May be our food habits and we getting exposed to infectious environment since birth building our immunity system better.

This covid-19 outbreak is really an alarm to us to go back to our basics and understand our traditions. As rightly mentioned by our PM Modiji, our Ayurveda has many remedies which we believe in but its time to prove it to the world by gathering scientific data for it and we should work on it.

Coming back to traditional food habits, here I am going to share some ayurvedic and scientific reasoning behind our traditional food habits.

Our traditional diet is basically roti, bhakari, rice, veggies and dal. Our diet should be balanced diet

perfect mix of carbs, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. Pulses, sprouts are rich in proteins. Rice, wheat roti, jawar/bajara bhakari are carbs. Bhakari is fibrous which is healthier than roti. Green vegetables rich in minerals. We get vitamins from fruit vegetable like Brengle, Pumpkin, orka, etc. Beans are rich in vitamins as well as proteins. Turmeric, ginger garlic are antiseptics as well as immunity boosters. The asafoetida (heeng), curry leaves which we use for tadaka is also good for health. Little use of spices is also beneficial not only for taste but for health. Use of coconut and oil to certain extend gives required fats to body. Coriander is good for urinary system. Our traditional food is based on Ayurveda and local crops. Butter milk after meal is digestive. Our full meal in comprising of all these items. Addition to it is raita, carrot beetroot salad, pudina chatani ( good for acidity) adds taste as well as are supplementary nutritious food. We should minimize intake of maida, sugar, salt and fried items in our food and increase seasonal local fruits.

Its time we should get back to our tradition, our basics and get away of the habits of fast food. Fast food, pizza, burger should be our occasional food habits. If we learn this even this from this covid outbreak, it will be an achievement.

India Against Corruption

Even after doing everything 100% legally correct... y m i not getting possession of my house.... is it because the seller of the house is son of police??
We have made the deal with zero black amount, still the seller is not giving me possession... he asked us to pay more 21000/- by cheque as he wants white money (dont know why... not aware of his kali kartute) and we will pay less to broker...
This is disgusting....
and even after that we haven't got the possession and as we paid him unwillingly we feel we should stop the payment and just go to the house and don't move from there till he vacates the house...
What say friends????

What The Hell Maharashtra Govt Doing

Once upon a time Mumbai was known for industries in the city. This was dream city for Indians. But I think its no more same now. Its good to see many other cities in the country growing at faster rate.
Property rates at mumbai were always high as its known as costliest land in the world alongwith Tokyo. The property rates are still getting higher & higher, they are beyond common mans reach. Industries are reluctant to start their plants in Mumbai for the same reason. The existing industries are selling of their lands in Mumbai and utilizing the capital and investing in other parts of India. If no inustries are left in Mumbai who will stay at Mumbai? Mumbai will loose its charm.

What government is doing? Maharashtra Govt has no plans. No control on anything. Its total chaos.

Dil Hein Chhotasa Chhotisi Aasha

Everyday I commute to office using public transport bus service in Mumbai. Awesome public transport in Mumbai, one doesn’t need to have own vehicle to travel to any part of the city. The only pain is road traffic. On my route to office there are two types of busses AC & Non-AC. I prefer whichever comes first.

The other day I was travelling by Non-AC bus. Surprisingly there were no many passengers that day. The bus had stopped at signal on Western Express Highway and two beggar kids got in. Conductor asked money from them for the ticket. They paid the amount and rushed to the first seat of the bus. They were enjoying bus ride as it was new experience for them. They were actually jumping and running in bus as if they are enjoying in any amusement park. They asked their friends on the road to join them in bus while bus was passing by but the new kids did not have money to pay. As the bus was not much crowded conductor allowed them to get into the bus and enjoy the bus ride warning them this is the only time he will allow them to do so.

Everyone in the bus was happy to see the kids are enjoying, none took any objection. Those street kids with all dirt on their clothes and body were sharing seats with usual passengers and the office going passengers were enjoying their amusement.

Wow, That’s called Mumbai Spirit. Are people racist in India????

This Happens In Delhi As Well

A year completed for my marriage….

Sharing my experience which was pending since long time….

We had been to Jim Corbett Jungle, Nainital, Uttarakhand for our honeymoon. No need to say we had amazing time there. Met good people, had good food, enjoyed nature and were on our way back thinking everything went well than what we had planned and expected.

We reached Delhi Railway Station around 4:00 AM, hired a cab to go to airport. Little scared as Delhi not being safe at night. The roads were empty and I was enjoying Delhi Ki Thandi with Sachin. We reached airport very safely. Sachin paid the pre-decided amount to the driver and we headed towards the entrance. I took out my id proof and Sachin started to look for wallet for his. Realized we have lost our wallet and Sachin not having his id proof as well as printout of the flight reservation. The entire trip was such a nice experience and I thought it should not have been ended like this.

Sachin went on the road to look for the cab and the driver but he had already left. Hardly in five minutes the cab came to us. The driver gave the wallet to Sachin saying he found it on the seat. The driver had gone to arrival entrance and again came back to departure gate where he had dropped us.

Although Delhi is not known for such incidents I had different experience.

Why would? Why would? Why would???

Why would any government make policies for people not voting?
Why would any government provide facilities for people not paying tax?
Why would any government decision not get affected by a corporate generating employment and helping nation to build?

Why would citizens continue staying in a country which do not give you opportunities to grow?
Why would any citizen vote if there are not worthy candidates?
Why would farmers crop their fields if they are not well paid?

Why would? Why would? Why would?
The endless cycle goes on....

War Against Terrorism

Why India is playing cricket against Pak Just because it generates huge revenue... Even after knowing Pak involvement in terrorism.... Dawood Ibrahim, Tiger Menon were safe in Pak… US shot dead Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan… Can these terrorist get shelter in Pak without support of Pak government?

We celebrate death of Kasab but we can't refrain from watching indo-Pak match right?
I am not in favour of this series so not going to watch this series
Whoever not in favour of terrorism please don't go to stadium, don't watch this match on tv… Get trp down get the revenue down...
Our police soldiers do not scarifies their lives so that we can watch already fixed friendship series.

We Indians always want someone else act on any problem, we expect our government should provide us facilities, our soldiers to protect our borders, our scientists to provide us new technologies, our police to maintain law n order, our cricketers to win matches, our athletes to get medals and what do we do? Just criticize others..

We won’t understand the pain unless we lose someone from our own family. Is that necessary to wait till that time? War is fought at every front. Let’s do what we can do.

South Africa was banned for racism. Let’s ban Pakistan for terrorism.

No hard feelings for Pakistani citizens. I believe they are innocent.

Bharat Bandh Against Price Raise

This site will give clear picture about inflation rate in last year. The government has still raised fuel price which will replicate raise in prices for other commodities.
Opposition parties had called for ‘Bharat Bandh’ on 5th July 2010 against price raise which was supported by aam janata. 60% people came out in support of Bandh in India, 72% in Maharashtra. Aam janta has shown disapproval to the government on price raise.
India has incurred loss of 13,000 cr Rs in one day. That’s the negative side of Bandh. Aam janta is hopeful to see some positive outcome from this protest.
We also must appreciate that we have freedom in our country to protest against government and be proud that we are part of a nation which is truly democrat.

On the occasion of women's reservation bill

Women's Reservation Bill, ensuring 33% reservation to women in Parliament and state legislative bodies, is it really required?
Well, I am certainly not in favor of any kind of reservation. Capable people should be holding the deserving positions in any of the system of this country whether its parliament, defense, medical science, education system or in any other damn system.

I do agree in India still there are places especially in rural areas women are dominated by men. They are deprived of the opportunities. But reservation is not the solution for this. Running programs to encourage women to explore the opportunities, educating them, giving concessions or providing additional facilities, making them aware of their rights is the way to empower them. If they don’t have the potential to do right justice to their responsibilities they are going to fail even after reservation.

They might become puppets and someone else would operate them. Men who may not contest the election for being quota system ask their ladies to contest and eventually rule the world according to them. Do we want to see more Rabdidevis everywhere?

Reservation is not giving the right candidate right opportunity. It raises frustration in society, reduces efficiency of the system and divides the society in groups.

Reservation is certainly not the solution of empowering any group or any community.

Mumbai & Bangalore

Heyyy blogigng after looooooooooong time. Many of you asked me for not blogging but there was no any topic which touched my heart to blog. But today I got the topic to and it clicked this way.

The TV show on CNN IBN and topic was Bangalore vs Karnatika. The occasion was Karnataka assembly elections. As I stayed in Bangalore almost for 3 years, I guess that’s enough time to fall in love with Bangalore, how can I refrain myself from blogging.

Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India. Yup, now Bangalore is nomore only of Karnatakas, it has become Mini India. People from all over India are coming to this city. And I think its gona face same problems as that of Mumbai. Karnatikas are worried about the changing culture of Bangalore. The fear of losing karnatika culture, fear of karnatika population leading towards minority population in Bangalore, rallies against non karnatikas. Similar things keep happening in Mumbai as well by Marathi people, Shivsena and now MNS. Bangalore is on the same line.

I really don’t know what is right and what is wrong, Mumbai has lost its identity as Marathi Mumbai long back. People from all the parts of India come here and stay together. Same way I did not face any problem being non karnatika at Bangalore. But yes, Bangalore is changing rapidly. The change is inevitable but still I feel the city should not lose its own charm.

IT city is getting young crowd in the city, most of this people are staying without family, so no family restrictions on them. Bangalore is also getting famous for night life. But unlike Mumbai unfortunately the night life in bangalore is just limited to pubs and bars. IT industry has raised the living standards but at the same time the city is getting costlier. The other industries in city should also see growth along with IT industry.

I just know people in India people should live in harmony, we should not lose our culture, identity at any cost and the same time cast, religion, language, culture should not be bars in our growth as India.

India Poised --- our time is now

Letter To Terrorist By Mumbaikar After Serial Bomb Blast On 11th July

This was the fwd and each word of it is 100% truth

Dear Terrorist,

Even if you are not reading this we don't care. Time and again you tried to disturb us and disrupt our life - killing innocent civilians by planting bombs in trains, buses and cars. You have tried hard to bring death and destruction, cause panic and fear and create communal disharmony but everytime you were disgustingly unsuccessful. Do you know how we pass our life in Mumbai? How much it takes for us to earn that single rupee? If you wanted to give us a shock then we are sorry to say that you failed miserably in your ulterior motives. Better look elsewere, not here.

We are not Hindus and Muslims or Gujaratis and Marathis or Punjabis and Bengaliies. Nor do we distinguish ourselves as owners or workers, govt. employees or private employees. WE ARE MUMBAIKERS (Bombay-ites, if you like). We will not allow you to disrupt our life like this. On the last few occassions when you struck (including the 7 deadly blasts in a single day killing over 250 people and injuring 500+ in 1993), we went to work next day in full strength. This time we cleared everything within a few hours and were back to normal - the vendors placing their next order, businessmen finalizing the next deals and the office workers rushing to catch the next train. (Yes the same train you targetted)

Fathom this: Within 3 hours of the blasts, long queues of blood donating volunteers were seen outside various hospital, where most of the injured were admitted. By 12 midnight, the hospital had to issue a notification that blood banks were full and they didn't require any more blood. The next day, attendance at schools and office was close to 100%, trains & buses were packed to the brim, the crowds were back.
The city has simply dusted itself off and moved one - perhaps with greater vigour.

We are Mumbaikers and we live like brothers in times like this. So, do not dare to threaten us with your crackers. The spirit of Mumbai is very strong and can not be harmed.

Please forward this to others. U never know, by chance it may come to hands of a terrorist in Afghanistan, Pakistan or Iraq and he can then read this message which is specially meant for him!!!
