War Against Terrorism

Why India is playing cricket against Pak Just because it generates huge revenue... Even after knowing Pak involvement in terrorism.... Dawood Ibrahim, Tiger Menon were safe in Pak… US shot dead Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan… Can these terrorist get shelter in Pak without support of Pak government?

We celebrate death of Kasab but we can't refrain from watching indo-Pak match right?
I am not in favour of this series so not going to watch this series
Whoever not in favour of terrorism please don't go to stadium, don't watch this match on tv… Get trp down get the revenue down...
Our police soldiers do not scarifies their lives so that we can watch already fixed friendship series.

We Indians always want someone else act on any problem, we expect our government should provide us facilities, our soldiers to protect our borders, our scientists to provide us new technologies, our police to maintain law n order, our cricketers to win matches, our athletes to get medals and what do we do? Just criticize others..

We won’t understand the pain unless we lose someone from our own family. Is that necessary to wait till that time? War is fought at every front. Let’s do what we can do.

South Africa was banned for racism. Let’s ban Pakistan for terrorism.

No hard feelings for Pakistani citizens. I believe they are innocent.

Maslow’s Hierarchy Of Needs

The first need is food and water. A hungry or thirsty person will think about little else than finding something to eat and drink. They are not particularly interested in philosophy, music or may be even being nice to other people. But having satisfied the first need, people start thinking about the second need – shelter, a cave or a roof over the head. People search for security. Having achieved a food supply and somewhere to live, their minds turn to third need – love and sense of belonging. Humans are social animals; they need to be with other people. We need to feel loved, we need family and community. The fourth need is esteem – we not only want to belong to a family or community we want to be liked and respected. Fifth need is self-actualisation – the need to understand the world, to create or solve the problems just for fun of it.

Maslow’s hierarchy of needs helps explain both altruistic and barbaric behavior in some situations.

My observation is some people can not rise ever... eg. few are stuck with their first need for the entire life even if they get plenty of food they are never satisfied... few get stuck with money (could be esteem as money gets you respect in society) how much ever they earn.

However few even if they have no money no food they have need to seek knowledge about the world and curious about the things around them keep solving the puzzles... few earns money so that they can solve the puzzles about the world and help the other.

So the hierarchy explained by Maslow is common behavior of people but there are exceptions. Everyone has different needs.

Think About It

If men are rated on the wealth they have, women are rated on the looks they have
Why would they waste their time and energy in building good character?

Lucky & Proud Girl Child

Lucky & proud girl child to be brought up and educated by parents without expecting their girl child will look after them in their old age, which is the reason in this country boy child is welcome in family over a girl.

Hats off to all such parents who did not kill their girls, who did not give birth to children longing for a son.

A Year With Sach

Lots many thoughts popping up same time, confused how to start, let me close my eyes and take breath and sort them out:)

I know Sachin for a year now. On first Oct 2011 I met him first time and on next day we decided to marry. Very strange, right? or this is how marriages are fixed in India. People take months to decide where to invest their money but no time to decide with whom to live entire life. Arranged marriage is the greatest gamble I played and found myself very fortunate this time.

I didn’t know anything about him except his degrees :) and for the only reason I said yes to him as he is an IIT-ian and for his very pleasant personality. Every time I met him my apprehensive mind gained more confidence on my decision.

Till now every moment I spent with him is very exciting and interesting. Arranged marriage is full of surprises and till now I have come across only with pleasant surprises. He is just the way I want my lifepartner to be. Hey Sach, don’t get overconfidant, there is a scope for improvement ;)

May my entire life is full of such surprises and excitement with Sachin…
