As baby we are loved, cared and pampered. As we grow we learn new things and in our child days our every act is appreciated, our every learning is celebrated by our parents, relatives and most of the people around us. In our childhood we get what we ask for easily. Our parents take efforts to make us comfortable and focus on our upbringing. We get habituated to this love.
As we grow old, since we are habituated to this comfort level of being loved from people around us, we expect same thing. But we meet new people and may not experience same love what we used to get in our childhood days from everyone. And then we get hurt. Even if we grow old we behave as a kid inside to seek love from everyone around us as our past experience.
But as we grow old instead of seeking love we should learn to give love. We should learn to love without any expectations. That’s when we will truly be called as grownups.
