Lets talk about Love

There are three concepts I am curious about in my life.

First what is God, Second what is Love and third is there Ghost/Evil/Spirit in this world.

The first I have already wrote, today its time to write about second. And friends I expect lot of comments on this blog as I feel this topic is close to everyone’s heart.

Well let me start, I remember Deepika (my friend) had asked me once, “varada what is love?” and I had replied there is nothing called love. People are so practical in today’s world that I doubt people who claim theirs is love marriage, I don’t have idea about yesteryears.

I would define love = friendship + physical attraction + commitment (third might be contradictory)

When you truly love someone you feel good, you care for that person and you do the things more for other person than for self. You sacrifice for the other person and still you are happy. You just want the other person to be happy and that becomes the ultimate goal of your life. It gives different meaning to your life.

And people who get opportunity to spend entire life with their love are the people blessed by God.

Friends, now its your turn to add to this.

Ek nazar mein bhi pyaar hota hai, maine suna hai
Do baaton mein bhi ikraar hota hai, maine suna hai
Sama rangeen sa hone lagta hai
Jahaan haseen sa lagne lagta hai
Koyi dil pe chhaa jaaye to aisa hota hai, maine suna hai
Ek nazar mein bhi pyaar hota hai, maine suna hai
Do baaton mein bhi ikraar hota hai, maine suna hai

Chamakte hain chehre, chamakti hai duniya
Behekti hai saansein mere liye

Nazar se nazar jo mila loon agar to
Phirakti hai dhadkan bhi mere liye

Nasha kuch nigahon mein bhi aisa hota hai, maine suna hai
Ek nazar mein bhi pyaar hota hai, maine suna hai
Do baaton mein bhi ikraar hota hai, maine suna hai

Hawa pe jahan dekhne ko chale hain
Bani badalon se hai apni zameen

Jo udne lage aasmaan tak hai jaana
Na khushiyon mein apni hai koyi kami

Pasand kuch hawaon ka bhi aisa hota hai, maine suna hai

Ek nazar mein bhi pyaar hota hai, maine suna hai
Do baaton mein bhi ikraar hota hai, maine suna hai

Sama rangeen sa hone lagta hai
Jahaan haseen sa lagne lagta hai

Koyi dil pe chhaa jaaye to aisa hota hai, maine suna hai

I concur.. Love is like a Tripod, with the three pillars being "Lust", "Intimacy" and "Commitment". You are not in Love, if its not for any one of these three.
But I beg to differ...Love and sacrifice are not synonymous. Infact, if we do something for the other person, its not because its makes him/her happy, but because it makes you happy.
The ultimate goal in life is not keeping the other person happy. The ultimate goal becomes "keeping the relationship happy and intact". If, this requires considering the happiness of the other person more than you, so be it.

Sorry to be a spole spot, but i feel there is nothing like a love in this world. I agree with you, in todays world, every move is calculated move. There is nothing like unconditional love. There is give and take relationship.

In the current world pepole go for the one which will benefit them the most.

Aaj kaal ke rishte dil se nahi bante lekin dimag se bante hai.

Ek maa apne bete se jo karti hain woh bhi love hi hota hain.. its the purest form you will get! start from there and then trace it out..

Hey Dipa,

I thank you for your honest comment. I am sure people are gonna have argument on this.

Hi Prashant,

I truely agree with you that purest form of love is the love mother has for her child. Its totally unconditional but here I am just talking about love between two lovers.

I saw someone discussing love after a real long time... to me love is a feeling secure with the person. love is trust and the best described love it not asking any question to the person you love irrespective of other person you love doing good, bad or worse to you... your love for someone should not die, change because of how other person/think changes.. For example love for a boy. Girl... one can never forget his first love in life... a cricketer will keep loving the game irrespctive of if he can.had ever play or game rule change from 5 day to 50 overs to 20-20 so love for anything just do not change over a persiod of life.. In fact it cherishes and you love it deeper and deeper with growing time and maturity between the two...

There is only one happiness in life,to love and be loved.
If you have love in your life it can make up for a great many things you lack. If you don't have it, no matter what else there is, it's not enough.

Love, like truth and beauty, is concrete. Love is not fundamentally a sweet feeling; not, at heart, a matter of sentiment, attachment, or being "drawn toward." Love is active, effective, a matter of making reciprocal and mutually beneficial relation with one's friends and enemies.

If you want to be loved, be lovable....

it's a human need. spread the love.
